Job Summary
The Senior Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, market development, and customer engagement for the company’s Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) portfolio within an assigned territory. This role involves developing strategic relationships with hospitals, wound care centers, surgeons, nursing teams, and procurement departments while achieving revenue targets and expanding market share.

The Senior Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, market development, and customer engagement for the company’s Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) portfolio within an assigned territory. This role involves developing strategic relationships with hospitals, wound care centers, surgeons, nursing teams, and procurement departments while achieving revenue targets and expanding market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed territory sales targets for the NPWT product portfolio.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to identify growth opportunities and maximize market penetration.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including:
- General Surgeons
- Plastic Surgeons
- Orthopedic Surgeons
- Vascular Surgeons
- Wound Care Specialists
- ICU and OT staff
- Nursing teams
- Hospital administrators
- Procurement and supply chain personnel
- Conduct product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, and in-service training for healthcare professionals.
- Support clinicians during initial NPWT applications and complex wound management cases.
- Identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the territory.
- Work closely with distributors (where applicable) to improve coverage and sales performance.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure and post-sales support.
- Collaborate with marketing to organize CMEs, workshops, conferences, and educational programs.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Coordinate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Mentor and support junior sales representatives when required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales is preferred.
- 5–10 years of medical device sales experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience selling NPWT, advanced wound care, surgical devices, or critical care products preferred.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Travel Requirements
